Gap Fellowship

Current university students and recent high school graduates who have been accepted into a college or university are invited to apply for a Gap Fellowship @ McCall College.  Any current student at a college, university or trade school may apply.  The Application fee is waived if the applicant uses the Gap Fellowship Registration.

     Background

With the ongoing pandemic and no vaccines on the near horizon, colleges and universities are attempting to reorganize programs and classes around on-line learning.  Students have no assurance that educational quality can be upheld with the transfer to a different teaching platform by so many professors and instructors.

    Recommendation

College and university students and recent high school graduates  should take a gap year for the 2020-21 academic year to let college and university administrations reorganize.  If a vaccine is available this year, next academic year should return to normal  Students are recommended to stay in their communities to assist in the recovery of businesses and organizations from the loss of business from the pandemic.

    Note

You will not receive transfer credit for your Gap Fellowship.  You will receive a recommendation letter from Dr. L. Bryan Williams. McCall College is registered as a proprietary school with the Idaho State Department of Education. This offer is contingent on a minimum of 6 Fellowships being awarded.
