This is an introductory course in the basics of Jainism. Major topic areas include History, Worlds of Meaning, and Spiritual Practices. Student is expected to become aware of Jainism, understand its means of thought, and compare Jainism to one's own faith. The community course will only offer lecture material.  The Professional Technical course with add texts and assessment to the lectures.  Hours: 1
