This course is an introduction class on the exploration of the fundamentals of art. Students will learn how see, then to draw & paint using shape, tone and color.   Hours: 1

#1 Learning to See/ Overcoming stereotypes and symbols

#2 Using tonal values ( light, middle tone, dark) to give dimensional illusion.

#3. Overlapping subjects for illusion of depth.

#4 Using the power of Complimentary contrasting color. Understanding the color wheel.

#5 Using vibrant, intense, saturated color along with subtle muted shades to create focus and drama in artwork.

#6 Hard and Soft edges. How to make a round object diffuse back into space by using a soft edge.
