Review procedures for assisting GED candidates.

Volunteer Center

Volunteers are mandatory for the success of the GED Education goals and the McCall College Testing Center.

 

Goal:

10 proctors and 10 tutors in 2019-2020.

Tutors in all regions will be sought and developed.

Volunteer Area Plan:

Valley County 2019-20

Adams County 2020-21

Idaho County 2021-22

 

 Volunteer Development Pathway

Background Checks mandatory for all tutors.

Volunteer Orientation and Training

 

     Tutors: Orientation to Learning Express in local libraries

          McCall Tutors have access to Park Place Professional Center

 

      Proctors: Orientation to Pearson VUE Test Certification

 

 

 An annual Celebration Dinner will be planned to thank GED Graduates & Volunteers for their success.

 

Additional Volunteer Activities:

 Develop Volunteer Board to oversee Volunteer Activities.

 Manage West Mountain Volunteer Fund.

 Create Database of contact info and skills of Volunteers

 Match Tutor to candidates

 Check for Success – Volunteer checks in with matched pair monthly.

 Assist any student in orienting to take a GED Practice Test

 Develop McCall College Library for GED material
