The Program in Religious Studies and Spirituality offers 3 levels:
Lecture; Badge; and more. Lecture Topics are available to introduce or develop religious awareness, understanding and belief in the tradition of the student's choice.
All lectures are open to the public.
Badges
A Badge is available for each Major Religion group. Each course is designed to offer an introduction to a religion. Each course is 4-5 weeks duration with up to 2 hours weekly of class (equals 1 block hour).
Ancient Religions Badge:
Pagan, Zoroastrian, Shamanism, Native American
Religions of India Badge:
Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism
Religions of the Book Badge:
Judaism, Christianity (Roman, Protestant, & Orthodox), Islam
Religions of China and Japan Badge:
Confucianism, Taoism, Shinto
Religions of America Badge:
History of Denominations

Professional Education Format
All classes will be open to anyone interested in Religion. The professor reserves the right to restrict access to anyone but registered students; however, the desire is for open access to the lectures.
Please arrive at 6:20 if you are a drop-in.
Community lectures have optional homework assignments.
Please note that the Professional Technical education is designed around homework and class participation. Please register on the iLearn site and read the class materials prior to any class. The professor will attempt to be inclusive of all; however, prepared students will be given priority.
McCall College will record attendance. Each lecture attended will accumulate toward a Badge and other credentials. Completion of missing lectures in future classes is acceptable within 3 years of the start of the program. 2 missing lectures per course on the iLearn site is acceptable upon payment of tuition.
