Community Conversations

YouTube LIVE

McCall College has documented success in attracting local viewers to our YouTube Channel.  We start with YouTube LIVE.  With no Star News advertising, we average 6 LIVE viewers (9/9/21).  With Star News advertising, we average 10 viewers.  A Facebook Ad will usually add 50 viewers. The raw conversation will be left on the McCallCollege YouTube Channel after the interview.

Preparation

Arrive at 6:30 pm for a 7:00 pm conversation in the Park Place Conference Room #119 or the foyer waiting room.  Please dress with a plain colorful top.  White or light tops do not show well.  If the conversation is on ZOOM, prepare your background to minimize back-lighting.  Make sure you have adequate lighting to highlight your face.  Test your microphone for quality sound.

Editing and YouTube videos

For a fee, the raw conversation will be edited into a crafted video. The video will remain on the YouTube site for as long as the college deems appropriate.

Facebook Advertising

For a fee, the crafted video will be boosted to the regional audience.  All Facebook users within 50 miles of McCall will be prompted to see the crafted video.  The boosting will last for 14 days.

McCall College has documented success in delivering videos into the regional market. For our most recent campaign, our video went from a flat 40 viewers to 100 viewers during the starting week of our video boost campaign.

Moderator

Dr. L. Bryan Williams, Social & Bio Ethicist, will serve as moderator of our series.  Dr. Williams serves as President of McCall College.
