Course

This course examines what it means to be a professional in an American organizational structure. The history and social expectations of the professions will be examined.  The professions of doctor, nurse and now ethicist will be the focus.  The development and management of the Ethics Committee will be offered. The development of Ethics Consultants will be assessed.  The professional student will develop the organizational phase of a Bioethics Thesis. PREREQ: none
